“Most of the guys in the NFL would sit here and tell you we don’t condone the abuse of a child, any sort of abuse of a woman, breaking rules, failing drug tests or doing any of those things. We hold ourselves to a very high standard.”

Manny Pacquiao is enduring much more than any normal pounding in a boxing ring as he faces a series of legal and personal problems including: a pending investigation from the Nevada State Athletic Commission, fan lawsuits, his rival bashing him publicly and a shoulder surgery. However the Christian Filipino fighter declares he will not falter in his faith.

“I want to provide opportunities for my fellow countrymen that will improve their situations. As a politician, I want to help create jobs so that I can bring them out of their poverty,” Pacquiao revealed to CP. “I want to give them hope. Boxing has been my passion, but public service is my calling.”

“(Reality television) has become negative over the years and I wanted to do something positive. I wanted to do something to inspire,” Richards-Ross told CP. “My show, of course it had drama and real life issues. But the undercurrent of our show was to hopefully inspire people.”

“Nothing he can do or say can compare to seeing my wife battle cancer. His trash talking and the perception that he’s unbeatable motivates me to go out there and shock the world.”
“I lost sensation in both of my feet, in my hands. I really couldn’t feel anything so it was a tough time.”

“I know that time is near and I’m preparing myself the best way I can considering the unforeseen string of events that have transpired within the last two years,” the wideout told CP. “Acting is definitely something I am (and) will be in pursuit of as I transition from football.“

“My dad, he wasn’t in the picture, wasn’t there at all,” Douglas told The Christian Post of her decision to include her personal struggles with her absent parent. “Hopefully he’ll take from Grace, Gold and Glory (and) he’ll know my feelings. I’m hoping we can build a better, stronger relationship in the future.”
